So you took a little (or a big) break from your fitness and routine and you're feeling ready to get back into it?
First of all, good for you! 👏
Second of all, building ( or in this case rebuilding) habits can feel hard when you're first adopting a new lifestyle and habits.

Starting with an intense and extremely demanding fitness routine can be a recipe for disaster (and defeat). 😩
This is a huge element of success when getting back into your fitness game.
If you're not totally clear on what your "why" is, try asking yourself these questions:
Keep in mind, what used to be your why may not be all that important to you. Allow yourself to grow and evolve.

Cycling? Yoga? Roller skating? Hey, I support whatever lights you up and gets you moving.
So if the thought of working out makes you feel like there's a a fully loaded squat rack on your shoulders, try spicing things up with a new active venture.
Look, your body and fitness abilities have changed since you've last been on top of your fitness routine and that's totally okay. In fact, it would be super weird if it wasn't.
So be sure to keep this in mind when you go to run a mile, stack weights on your barbell, or get deep into your downward facing dog.

If you're uninspired, under-equipped, or overdue for some new fitness gear use this as an opportunity to gear up.
I know this may seem silly, but for many people, it works.
After a couple of weeks of finding a form of exercise you actually enjoy and listening to your body, you should be able to gauge how many days a week you want to exercise and how many days you need to rest.
Create a schedule and stick it.
Of course, you can move things around in your schedule because well, life happens. But be sure to schedule out your workout days & rest days at the beginning of the week and move things around if and when something comes up.
Creating a plan of action is an excellent tool for self-accountability.
The faster you make the commitment to get things started, the sooner you're going to feel better.
Today, I challenge you to pick one thing, just one little thing, that you can start doing today to jumpstart your fitness comeback.
I hope that these tips were helpful to you for getting back on track with your fitness routine.
