It is closing in on the end of February, it is still winter and maybe those goals and tasks you set for yourself at the beginning of the year have taken a place on the back burner, or maybe you haven’t been able to get them started yet. No matter where you sit with this, it is never too late and you can always get yourself back on track. Taking some time to refocus and ask yourself questions is a great starting point to get recentered:
Now that you have asked yourself some questions and spent some time focusing on what you are trying to achieve, are you ready to get back on track?
Learn from your process and journey. Thinking about the responses to the questions you asked yourself, do you need to make any adjustments so your goals and tasks are more manageable, realistic and sustainable? You can change the way you approach things and change your mind about things. Take responsibility for your actions. You are the only person that can make sure you get the things done that you want to and how that looks is up to you. Refocus on your vision and resume your practices, coming back to all of this regularly to help yourself stay on track and get back on track when needed.
Most importantly, have self-compassion - remember the goal is not to always stay on track, that is not always realistic. The goal is to fall off track less often, recognize when you are off track more quickly, and get back on track with more ease.
